In the Event of Inclement Weather: Our staff will always try to balance a desire to allow our students to continue in their regularly scheduled classes with concern for our students and families' well-beings. Should weather dictate that we cancel classes, we will notify you as early as possible. We recognize that not all of our families are coming from the Granger area, and that different neighborhoods might be more adversely impacted by winter weather. As always, we trust parental discretion if the conditions make attending class too hazardous for you. If you choose not to send your children due to weather conditions near your home, please inform Kim Slott via email (kslott@stpius.net) at your earliest convenience.
Where to Find Closure Information: Information regarding class cancellation will be disseminated in two ways:
1) We will contact three local news stations to include Saint Pius on their snow cancellation ticker:
2) We will also email families to notify them of the cancellation. If you have any concerns about the weather, please remember to check your email. The Religious Education office will use the email address you provided during registration to make these announcements. If there is another email account that you check more frequently or reliably that you would like us to use for communication, please send an updated address to Robby (rkiley@stpius.net)
