The former church was renovated to accommodate multiple needs:
In following the recommendations of the Facilities Committee, constructing a new Church building would provide more adequate space for the size of our parish. In doing that, our architect faced the challenge of reusing our former Church. Bishop D’Arcy had consecrated our former church to be used as a sacred space, where the Sacraments have been celebrated since 1992. That space continues to be used as sacred space. Baptisms are celebrated there, and the sacred art of building community, comforting those who mourn, and sharing our lives occur there, setting the new Church aside for the sole purpose of praising God.
