Dear Saint Pius X RE Families,
This is the time of year when we would normally be wrapping up Religious Education programs, and sending out registration forms for the following year. I recognize that this is not a “normal” time, but we will be offering families an opportunity to begin registering for the fall semester at this time. Registration for the 2020-2021 school year will open on Friday, May 8 at 9:00 a.m.
For the time being, we are proceeding as if we will be allowed to resume in-class instruction in September. We will be closely monitoring information from the state, county, and diocese, and will update families with any information we receive. If modifications to our classroom procedures are called for, we will communicate these changes as they are made.
We’ve made a few changes to the registration process during this time of social distancing.
Registration forms will be available online only. Unlike years past, we will not be making printed forms available in the parish office. If you have difficulties using online forms, please email rkiley@stpius.net - we have fillable PDF forms available, or we can take your registration information over the phone by appointment. Our in-office hours are limited, so please email Robby instead of calling the Religious Education office, and we can set up a time for a voice call.
We’ve extended the early bird discount period from July 1 to July 15. Early bird prices will be available for all programs, including Family Catechesis.
We’ve increased the number of spots available for the Family Catechesis program from 80 to 100 for the new year.
We’ve gone to a new online form that allows parents to register multiple children for the same program on a single form, helping save you time and effort. Please read the instructions at the beginning of each form for details on how to use this function.
All online forms can be found on our website, stpius.net/reregistration.
Families who register before July 15 will receive an early bird discount on their RE fees, so early registration is strongly encouraged!
I hope you are all staying healthy and safe during this unprecedented time. You remain in all of our prayers, and we hope we are able to rejoin you very soon. God bless!
Robby
