SPX Masses of Reparation for Victims

The Mass celebrated for the "Forgiveness of Sins" with priests wearing purple vestments. The only exception will be August 27 when we have to celebrate the Memorial of St. Monica. Her collect is appropriate for this day as it talks about her tears shed for the conversion of St. Augustine and for prayers that we may "bitterly regret our sins and find the grace of your pardon."
All of these dates are celebrated on the last Tuesday of the month except December. The last Tuesday of December is either Christmas Day or in the Octave of Christmas. We can't celebrate the week before due to the Late Advent weekdays, so that is why the second week of December has been chosen.
These Masses will be celebrated at 8:15 a.m., 4:00 p.m. (Nursing Home), & 6:00 p.m.
In December Masses, we will add 12:00 p.m. Senior Mass.
SPX Mass Intentions for Victims
For the 2018 Masses, the Mass intention was already taken with the exception of December 11 at 4:00 p.m., so the Mass intention will remain for a particular person. Beginning in January 2019, all of the Mass intentions on these days will be for Victims of Abuse.
