"You learn so as to live: theology and holiness are inseparable."
- Pope Francis
Learning more about our Catholic faith is an important part of growing as disciples. Saint Pius offers a variety of opportunities for adult parishioners to dive more deeply into the beauty and richness of our Catholic tradition. Whether you learn best from books or videos, enjoy talks or small-group discussions, you'll be sure to find a study that's right for you!
Throughout 2023-2024, Saint Pius will be celebrating the Year of the Eucharist. This is a perfect time to deepen your love for Jesus Christ present in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
Mondays, October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30
The Mass is nothing short of amazing. Through it, we encounter God in the most intimate way possible as we hear him speak to us in the Liturgy of the Word and as we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. A Biblical Walk Through the Mass, a 5-week video and Bible study hosted by Dr. Edward Sri, explores the extraordinary biblical roots of the Mass, revealing what it all means and why it all matters.
If you plan to attend, please remember to BOTH register for our Saint Pius sessions AND order your materials directly from Ascension Press! When you order your study materials, you will receive instant digital access, and then your books will be mailed to you. Saint Pius cannot order these materials on your behalf.

Join us as we listen and learn with Father Mike Schmitz through the Catechism in a Year podcast from Ascension Press, which launched on January 1, 2023. Bring your questions and insights to our monthly Catechism Chats, an opportunity to gather with other parishioners and learn more about the Catechism of the Catholic Church with help from local experts.

Each winter, parishioners form small groups to read and discuss an engaging Catholic book. We strive to select a title that meets people where they are and helps our parish community to grow toward where God is calling us to be, especially in light of our annual theme (in 2023-2024, we are celebrating the Year of the Eucharist). This is a great way to make new friends while growing in faith!
Saint Pius has a long tradition of accompanying parishioners through Lent through our weekly Lenten Series. Join us on Tuesday evenings in Lent for Mass, soup supper, prayer, and a talk. Childcare and children's programming is available!
