Cultivate a parish of solidarity and care by preparing and delivering meals to fellow parishioners requesting meals in a time of need.
Meals are provided on a temporary basis to Saint Pius X parishioners experiencing the birth of a child, miscarriage, bedrest, serious illness, surgery, hospitalization, returning home from rehabilitation, the death of a family member, or any situation where a delivered meal might provide relief.
Meals are typically delivered three times a week for one to two weeks around dinnertime. Please give us at least 48 to 72 hours notice before delivery of the first meal.
Please let us know if you or someone you know could benefit from this temporary assistance. Request meals by completing the FORM HERE.
Information submitted through the form will be kept confidential and will only be shared with members of the Meal Train leadership team.
Meal Train volunteers provide meals for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, suffering from illness or injury, or encountering difficulty in their lives.
Team members are contacted via email with a sign-up link whenever a need arises. The sign up will list the dates food is needed, drop-off location, number of people in the family, any special dietary restrictions, and preferred time for food delivery. You can sign up to help based on your availability.
Meals should consist of a salad, entree (meat/potato/veggie or casserole), and dessert, packed in disposable containers and delivered to the family during the specified time.
