Volunteerism informed by Christian concern is the hallmark of the Knights of Columbus with fraternal and charitable programs developed at the grassroots level to meet the local needs.
This group is represented by the order dedicated to Fr. Stephen T Badin, Council 4263 located here in Granger, Indiana.
We provide mutual aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public works.
Expectations:
All members are volunteers with Officers called upon to work as many hours as possible in order to complete the goals in providing resources for others within our community.
Each member must be a practicing Catholic 18 years of age and older.
Catholic men who join the Knights belong to a council, or local unit.
Members who have been in the Knights for one year and have attained Third Degree membership are eligible to join the Fourth Degree Knights.
Members should attend monthly meetings and participate in various activities including: monthly pancake breakfasts, 3 annual Lenten fish fry’s, basketball free throw contest, blood drives and other activities.
