Saint Pius X HASA Mission Statement:
The Home and School Association (HASA) is the parent/teacher organization of Saint Pius X Catholic School. It is a service ministry of the parish that performs and promotes stewardship in the school and for the parish through various committees.
 
Membership on the HASA Board:

1. The HASA Board consists of nine appointed members: President, Vice President, Secretary and six at large members, along with the Principal, Assistant Principal, administrative staff, and a Parish Liaison.
2. The objectives of the Board are:
   1. To promote the religious, educational, cultural and social growth of the students and families of Saint Pius X Catholic School.
   2. To promote open communication among the parents, teachers and administration.
   3. To promote good will and cooperation between and among parents, faculty, administration, School Board and the parish of Saint Pius X Parish.
   4. To direct and coordinate parental support and leadership through volunteer activities, service projects and social functions, and to encourage and motivate participation from all members of the Association.
   5. To follow the stewardship way of life established at Saint Pius X Parish.
3. Board membership shall be broadly representative of the entire school community.  However, once a person becomes a member of the Board, he or she does not represent a particular group or interest within the school, but is concerned with HASA as a whole.
4. Nominations for the HASA Board positions are solicited from the parish community. The outgoing HASA Board members, along with the Principal and the Pastor or his representative, appoint new members from the list of applicants.
5. Membership on the HASA Board is a three year commitment.
6. Meetings are typically held at 8:30 a.m. on the first Friday of each month.
