How the Ministry Works:

• The committee is composed of six or seven members.
• Members are generally active in the parish and often involved in other area outreach programs.
• Members are expected to attend five or six meetings each year, spend time reviewing proposals and provide input based on their knowledge and research of the organizations requesting funds.
• Members are appointed by the pastor.

Expectations:

• Members are encouraged to attend all meetings and to be able to analyze different needs and the financial constraints. Often, requests need to be acted upon quickly, therefore input from members in a timely fashion is critical.
