You are invited to come and share the joy and abundance of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd! A formation course to become a catechist for The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program is being hosted by Saint Pius X Catholic Church. CGS is a particular approach to the religious formation of children, ages 3-12, which is rooted in Scripture, Liturgy and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. The purpose of CGS is to assist the development of the child’s relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd, while respecting the child’s dignity and developmental sensitivities.
This Level 1 formation course is for those who would like to listen to God with children ages 3-6, while serving as CGS catechists and deepening your own faith life. The training will take place over six weekends:
PART I PART 2
September 25-27 January 22-24
October 16-18 February 19-21
November 13-15 March 26-28
