Scripture is at the heart of our Catholic faith, for "in Sacred Scripture, the Church constantly finds her nourishment and her strength" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 104). Sometimes reading the Bible can be daunting—so why not study Scripture with friends? Saint Pius offers regular opportunities for parishioners to read, pray, and learn together as we deepen our love for God's Word in Scripture.
What's in the Bible? How do I find it? How do I make sense of it all? Beginning to read the Bible can be intimidating, so SPX offered a Bible 101 series in 2023. Here are some of our favorite resources for helping you to feel more comfortable diving into Scripture.
