Saint Pius X Athletics Mission Statement:
Saint Pius X Parish Athletics exist to provide the parish youth the opportunity to develop spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically. Supporting the parish’s mission, the Board’s goal is to build strong moral character and self worth through athletics and Christian values. The Athletic organization is monetarily independent and self-sustained without the use of fundraisers. The Board will abide by the Constitution of the Inter-City Catholic League as it pertains to contests, eligibility and conduct. The Board supports the training, development and practice of the Play Like a Champion sports participation philosophy.

Guidelines for Membership on the Athletic Board:
1. The Athletic Board is composed of eight members, as well as ex-officio members (including the Athletic Director, the School Principal or Assistant Principal, and a School Representative).
2. Board membership shall be broadly representative of the entire school community. However, once a person becomes a member of the Board, he or she does not represent a particular group or interest within the school, but is concerned with the athletic program as a whole.
3. Nominations for the Athletic Board positions are solicited from the parish. The outgoing Board members, along with the Pastor, the Principal and the Athletic Director, appoint new members from the list of nominees/applicants.
1. Membership on the Athletic Board is a three year commitment.
2. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month.
