The community of Saint Pius X Catholic Church has selected the theme of encounter to structure parish events and programs throughout 2022-2023.  Inspired by the vision of encounter that Jesus shares through the Greatest Commandment and the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), our parish community will focus on encountering Christ and encountering others.  As we journey together through this Year of Encounter, we also look forward to celebrating the 2023-2024 Year of the Eucharist in conjunction with the nationwide Eucharistic Revival.

Our many Adult Faith Formation (AFF) ministries offer diverse opportunities for adult parishioners to grow in their relationship with Christ and as committed, compassionate disciples.  We provide a wide array of options for parishioners, including:

• Bible and book studies

• explorations of the Catechism of the Catholic Church

• video series and movie nights

• inspiring speakers

• seasonal retreats

• resources for personal study

• ...and much more!

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with AFF programs.  Particular needs include seasonal retreat planning, facilitating small groups for our annual Parish Book Program, serving as an RCIA Sponsor, and general behind-the-scenes event help.  We also welcome new members on our Adult Faith Formation Leadership Team, which meets quarterly to evaluate and plan AFF opportunities for the parish.  Contact Ashley to learn more and to volunteer!
