The Flyin Lion is an annual race that kicks off our parish’s Saint Pius X weekend celebrations. The race benefits the Saint Pius X Youth and Young Adult Ministry Programs. The funds help support teens and young adults participating in World Youth Day and summer camps and conferences.

This year’s race is on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 8 a.m. The Flyin’ Lion includes two events:
a chip-timed 5K and
a 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk.
The race begins and ends on Santa Monica Drive, next to the school’s preschool playground. The terrain of the race is all roads.
