UPDATE TO COVID PROTOCOLS FOR LITURGIES | DISPENSATION STATUS
(May 21, 2021) Effective immediately and in response to the Directives for Conducting Public Liturgies in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend during the COVID-19 Pandemic issued by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Saint Pius X Catholic Church shares the following updates to protocols during liturgies:
ILLNESS
Anyone (vaccinated or not) who is feeling ill with cough and/or fever, or any COVID-like symptoms should stay home.
ENTRANCES
All doors are open with hand sanitizer stations available.
MASKS | DISTANCING
Masks are now optional at liturgies, with the following seating arrangement:
DISTANCING AND MASKS REQUIRED-West Transept (Santa Monica Drive side)
DISTANCING, MASKS OPTIONAL-West Nave (Santa Monica Drive side)
NO DISTANCING, MASKS OPTIONAL-East Transept & Nave (Fir Road side)
NOTE: Health authorities recommend that unvaccinated individuals still wear masks.
GENERAL DISPENSATION
The lifting of the Dispensation from the Obligation of Mass is effective June 11, 2021.

Mass will be streamed live at 10:00am on Facebook & the website (Facebook: @StPiusGranger | StPius.net). A recording will be posted after the 10:00 a.m. is complete.
*Any public Mass or liturgy that is live streamed to our parish website will be identified as such in the parish bulletin or on the parish website. By attending a live-streamed liturgy here at Saint Pius X, you are giving the parish permission to have your image appear on our livestreams and recordings. We will not focus on particular individuals in the congregation out of respect for personal privacy, but your image may appear incidentally in the background. If you have a valid reason why your image should not appear on these live streams or recordings, you may visit the Parish Office for advice on where to sit to decrease the likelihood of your appearing on camera.

*The Adoration Chapel (in the Apse of the church) is available:
